Remote Access Guide for UA&P Online Journals

This guide will allow web access to University online resources remotely for employees and enrolled students. 

1. If you haven’t yet, activate your proxy account at https://dragon.uap.asia/portal/proxy.php. Use your UA&P Google Email Account to sign-in. 

         2. Select one of your Internet browsers (Mozilla Firefox is recommended) to configure and use dragon.uap.asia for the host/proxy and 3128 for the port number. Follow the guides below for your chosen browser.  Note that Firefox and Opera will not proxy all your Internet connections.

        3.Enter your username and password of your proxy account when prompted by the browser. See examples below. 

Mozilla Firefox

It is recommended that you use Mozilla Firefox for accessing online journals. You can download it from here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/. Below are instructions on how to configure the proxy and port for Firefox.

On Firefox, first click the menu tab logo and then select Options

Scroll down until you see the Network Settings, then click on Settings….

Click on Manual proxy configuration then enter dragon.uap.asia for HTTP Proxy and 3128 for Port. Finally, tick Also use this proxy for FTP and HTTPS.

Restart the browser. Enter your User name and Password of your proxy account when prompted by the browser. See the example below.
